Fortia - The Great Forest

He looked down at her paw and showed a faint smile, barely tracing a line along his face. He was utterly grateful for her, His silence had been officially broken thanks to her. He would talk to her later, as he didn't want to tell her in front of the Misko. "Later, just come find me." he mumbled. Just how much he was going to tell her was a mystery. The haunting thoughts started to cloud his thoughts again. He let out a low long contained growl at his attempts to force them into the back of his mind. His eyes grew to contain a bitterness to them, he wanted to run, but if he did, he might loose all of his chances of joining Thane.

Moon stood and leaned in pressing her nose to his shoulder gently. "Just howl." she whispered before stepping away. "I'm going to explore." she told Amber with a nod. The red neko spun on her paws a bounded away.

He nodded. He looked up to Amber. She didn't look like the one who would just let him go. "If you would excuse me, I need to clear some thoughts." and he turned and left. He wandered into the woods. Going in no particular direction. He let the memories wash over him, Bratus was pictured clearly in his mind at the training session. He was fighting him. Why? So he could survive of course. He had just threw him to the ground, the snow around him growing a crimson red. Arbor was brought back to reality. He was standing, destroying the ground underneath him. He let out a deep growl that didn't seem like it belonged to him, his eyes were filled with grief and anger. He swiped at a small shrub. He had done some serious damage to it. He looked around the small clearing he was in. He had a sickening feeling that he wasn't alone.

((Just a quick note that someone needs to save Bloodmoon from drowning cause she can't swim))

He lifted his head, he could see a swamp in the distance, And then a howl. It was familiar to him, the tone of course, Curious and concerned he raced to it, hoping it wasn't Bloodmoon.

He reached the clearing that he was in before and carefully covered the loose dirt from earlier back up. Sitting, he looked around, and his eyes fell on the bush... his stomach clenched, why though? He shook his head and looked down at the leaf strewn floor. This was insanity. He felt the urge to run again, but sat calmly. Nothing seemed to be right, frowning, he unfocused his gaze. He thought about why he had beaten the bush and shook his head. not now. He noticed how wet his pelt was and stood, shaking it out. it did nothing, and remained plastered to his frame, just to annoy him is what it felt like.

"I was exploring." He said looking at her confused face, he was telling the truth, he just didn't tell her about the mauled bush and the ruined dirt he sat. How much should he tell her was the question? Back on earth the last time he told anyone everything, they died. Ren and Katsa thought that Bratus had been killed by a predator. But Arbor had told Ren how he actually died and didn't think anything less of him. Ren was smart enough to know by now that instead of hunting they were fighting. His mother, however clever she was didn't notice this.

He chuckled. "It's.... Er.... Complicated." He pulled his mixed gaze to the bush as well. Her tone had become warm towards him. The sensation of running washed over him. He growled slightly to himself. He didn't need to run. Maybe he needed to burn energy, or sleep. He growled again, trying to win the battle with his thoughts. It sounded unnatural, threatening, and unlike him. He had heard his father do the same thing. Maybe it was genetic. Shrugging his shoulders he relaxed and the feeling left, but he felt irritated. His smile returned and he felt in control again. He glanced down and watched a small beetle at his feet.

He jumped slightly as Bloodmoon's snarl. He looked up to her and stood. His mixed eyes held confusion and panic, What had he done? "Sorry" he whispered and left the clearing. Once out of view he raced pelting through the trees. He had known that he growled, but he didn't think it would have that kind of impact. It wasn't Bloodmoon that had made him, it was something else. He felt terrible. There wasn't any way he could put into words to tell Bloodmoon that. She probably thinks it's because of her. Pausing, he seemed deeper in the forest, turning around was a path through some brush he had left. Shaking his head, he laid down and closed his eyes in the fog at the base of a large tree, trying to make himself as small as possible, reflecting on what had just happened.

Arbor's eyes flashed open. He heard her howl. He stood. Was she okay? Should he go back? He padded that way, hoping, praying, that she would forgive him. He felt better now that he had ran, but he felt as if he hurt her. As if when he ran, it meant he had done the one thing he swore he would ever do, leave the one he had met. He picked up his pace. This wasn't how he had planned this. He started to run, how far had he gone? Cursing under his breath he stuck his nose to the ground. Sniffing around he found his scent almost estatic he raced nose to the ground. He came across the clearing. He saw the red female laying on the ground. He had hurt her emotionally. He padded down into the clearing and laid down next to her his pelt brushing her's slightly and whispered, "I'm so sorry, it's my fault, I shouldn't have growled, or left you." He lifted his mixed eyes and watched her, he felt ashamed.

He felt her sob and felt worse, but he didn't say anything about it. He laid his head over hers gently, breathing in her scent. Cursed or not, he loved her. "I'll never leave you again." He said back. He didn't think that he could ever feel like this again. He felt as if this was where he needed to be. He let her sob, he felt that she would feel better afterwards. He smiled, looking down at her.

"On my life." He said. She was calming down a little as her sobs turned into the normal hiccups, He had come back, and would never leave her again. This red female understood him, and he understood her. This was how it was supposed to be, right? He felt as if nothing could take this away from him. Nothing but death, and he would fight hard for his life, and Bloodmoon's, although she might not need it very much.

He let her sleep, and left his paws where she had set them. He knew that he should sleep as well, but he didn't want anything to attack while both if them slept. He would sleep later. Feeling content, he gazed around the clearing. This would be where he would like to stay during most of the day. The sun broke through the dense tree branches and let the warmth of it comfort  him, making him warm and drying his damp pelt.

"Don't worry about it" he said. He lifted his head, nothing would come good of nigh in this place, he was pretty sure nothing did. "Its getting dark, and quick." he said looking at the setting sun through the dense gloomy forest. As much as he hated it, he stood. Arbor looked around again, "Know anywhere safe?" He asked Bloodmoon, his tone was warm in return, his eyes though, held another story. They were full of concern and kindness.  He wasConcerned for their safety, but kind to Bloodmoon.

Blood shook her head. "No. Amber as yet to show me the den but I'm sure we could find it if we look." she replied standing up letting her nose run through his neck fur. Taking a step away she shook out her dry pelt and sent dirt, leaves and twigs flying away from her red fur. Spotting a leaf on top of Arbors head she barked out a short laugh as she reached out a paw and brushed it off. Her eyes were like liquid gold as she gazed at the hiaro laying before her and leaning closer she ran her tougue over his cheek gently and in a way most would call lovingly.

He smiled fondly at her, the leaf however, made him laugh. Smiling like he normally did, He padded around the clearing, nose to the ground. finding a different smell, he picked his head up. It wasn't amber, He padded in that direction, frowning his eyes confused and focused. He went closer.
"Do you know what this scent is Moon?" he asked. it was strange and puzzling for him. The nosy part of him drifted closer to the smell, curious.

Blood moved over to Arbor swiftly. She sniffed the air but didn't regonise the scent. "Its not a wolf I have meet yet but it is also not a dovin." she mummered. The red neko stepped in front the black hiaro without thought as a soft growl left her. It was so so it was more of a vibration in her chest than an actual sound. Her steps were silent as she stayed just in front of Arbor feeling his breath on her shoulder as she followed the scent.

Narrowing his eyes, Arbor moved a little closer. He could make out a figure that was almost as big as a coyote. It didn't seem like a threat, but he knew it could be a threat. Crouching, he stalked the Miacis. He was hungry and this thing could probably feed him and Bloodmoon both. He looked to Bloodmoon and motioned her to him, He wanted to know if she recognized what the creature looked like of some sorts. "Think we can take it?" he asked eyeing the creature. it was probably more than capable than defending itself, so it would put up a fight. But there were two of them and one of it. He remained crouched, moving head to face Bloodmoon, His gaze curious and excited.
